Light And Fresh Summer Look

I was thinking about making a "no makeup makeup look" this week (let me know if you do want me to make one ;), but then I thought there are a lot of these, and decided to do something similar but to add a little color to the cheeks and the lips, to add a little bit of a "healthier" look!
So I came up with this fresh and clean look for summer!
If you are going to recreate your own version of this, make sure to upload a picture to Instagram and add #makeupandartfreak or mention me: @makeup_and_art_freak ! I would love to see!!! :)

OOTD: Beige Crochet Shorts

I LOVE those shorts! I feel like I can wear them with a tank top to the beach with a pair of flip flops and a bun, and then I can wear them like I did here. In a more classic style. :)
I paired them with a sleeveless black blouse and my favorite Zara heels. (which are not available anymore.. But at the bottom of this post you can find a similar shoe they have now, only with a lower heel..). I kind of felt like leaving my hair down would be too much.. But a sleek high ponytail was too too classic with this outfit. For me at least. So I've put my hair back into a low, loose pony. I really like how it looked altogether!

Born To Be Collection By Sigma - Photos, Swatches, First Impression And Tutorial

Oh my.. Too many things for one post!
Most of the things I wanted to say about this collection are in the video at the bottom of this post :)
Basically, I loved it! Especially the palette. It's nicely made, great packaging, mirror, the colors range is great (neutrals, colors, different textures and finishes..) It has everything a good eyeshadow palette should have :)
The palette retails for 39$ on SigmaBeauty.com, The blush is 1$ and the lip gloss is 10$.
The whole collection (that also contains 3 eyeliners, 2 more lip glosses and a lip concealer), is 99$.

First OOTD In A Long, Long Time.. (Forever 21 Maxi)

Wheeeeen was the last time I have uploaded an OOTD post?.. I dunno... A LONG time ago..
But now that I have my NEW CAMERA *_* I WILL upload OOTD's a LOT more often! I will!
So this was the first time me and Alex have decided to go test drive ma new baby (Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D, in case you were wondering..) and it was my favorite time of the day, right before sunset.. Aaahhh.. The very beginning of summer.. the beach.. twilight.. LOVE! I wore my fairly new maxi dress I got from Forever 21, for the first time. It's kind of half-maxi, because the long part of it is a see-through fabric that lays on top of a shorter skirt. I liked the combination of the colors (grey and coraly-pink), and it is SO easy-breezy and so comfortable! I also like the tank-style top of it, because it gives you the opportunity to wear it anywhere, really. You can wear it plain, as it is, with a pair of color-block neon jelly sandals, like I did, and it looks so simple and cute, to go to the beach, just like that. But because it's plain, you can easily pair it with cute heels or wedges, a little jewelry, and go for a summer dinner, too, and look elegant enough!
They've had it in a few more colors too.
